Birmingham-based Brandauer, which was established in 1862, has chosen Kidderminster\u2019s OGL Computer as its IT support partner, which could see it move its IT to the cloud.<\/p>\n
In March Brandauer expanded by making its first-ever acquisition when it purchased CB Cable Clips and invested \u00a3600,000 on a high-speed Japanese press earlier this month to boost capacity.<\/p>\n
Its target is to reach \u00a310 million turnover by the end of 2020 and as part of the company\u2019s growth plans, which include the potential move of IT into the cloud, Brandauer decided to review its IT support.<\/p>\n
It selected OGL Computer with the key aim to ensure the business is able to service its growing customer base.<\/p>\n
OGL Computer was chosen for its cost-effective\u00a0IT support, which includes a four-hour on-site response and out of hours support.<\/p>\n
Finance Director, Stuart Gregory, explained: \u201cHaving the right\u00a0IT infrastructure\u00a0in place, to avoid any downtime, is key and we understood that if we wanted to improve as a company, OGL Computer was the right fit for us.<\/p>\n

Brandauer commissioned OGL Computer to review its systems and the IT Solutions company soon identified gaps. OGL Computer\u2019s team was able to recommend a suite of technology products and services that would not only resolve any potential problems, but at the same time ensure Brandauer \u201chad better control and lockdown of all data, in order to avoid any downtime\u201d.<\/p>\n
Now quarterly health checks will provide Brandauer with IT systems\u2019 maintenance alerts and recommendations to ensure performance is maximised.<\/p>\n
This is not the first time OGL Computer has worked with Brandauer, following a six year partnership that ended when the company after they installed a new ERP system in 2015.<\/p>\n
