Chief executive Andy Bloomer joined in April 2024<\/a> and implemented a “survive and thrive” strategy to reset the business. <\/p>\nThe Rugby-based manufacturer makes insulation products, mostly for vehicles, and has a patented microfibre product called Neptune.<\/p>\n
Bloomer described today’s publication of its 2025 financial results – which confirmed previously-announced figures of \u00a331.1m revenues and losses of \u00a31.7m for an 18-month period – as “a turning point in Autins’ journey”. <\/p>\n
He said: “While we remain mindful of the challenges that persist in our industry, the decisive actions taken throughout FY25 have laid a strong and stable foundation for future success.<\/p>\n
“As we look ahead to FY26, we do so with renewed confidence and ambition. Our plans are underpinned by a clear growth strategy, and we are forecasting a return to net profitability in the coming year.”<\/p>\n
However it expects some volatility in its markets. The business is expecting its performance in the six months to September to be impacted by higher costs of employment, uncertainty regarding US tariffs, and planned shutdowns to prepare for new electric platforms in its customer base.<\/p>\n
It then expects sales to increase in the second half of the year, when new contracts ramp up to full production, with the momentum to continue into the next financial year. <\/p>\n
Bloomer is focused on long-term growth opportunities and to drive shareholder value, through organic growth and acquisitions.<\/p>\n
He added: “My ambition for Autins is clear: to position Autins as the market leader in acoustic and thermal management solutions for both the automotive sector and adjacent industries.<\/p>\n
“We also believe there is the opportunity to position Autins as the consolidator of choice for UK and, in time, European OEMs. By selectively pursuing acquisition opportunities that align with our strategic objectives, we will enhance our capabilities, broaden our product range, extend our market reach, and accelerate our growth trajectory.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
