An independent one-day conference for the Amazon Web Services (AWS) community in the UK, known as AWS Community Summit or ‘Comsum’, is set to expand to Birmingham later this year.<\/p>\n
Launched in 2018, the annual event provides a platform for AWS professionals, developers, and enthusiasts to share knowledge and network. Following on from its success in Manchester, the event is coming to Birmingham in June.<\/p>\n
The Manchester event has previously been attended by blue-chip organisations from a range of sectors including Barclays, NatWest, Lego, Booking.com, the BBC, Lloyds Bank, University of Manchester, Trustpilot, the Home Office, Shell Co-op, and Datadog.<\/p>\n
Due to take place on 4 June at Digbeth venues The Bond and Fazeley Studios, the inaugural Birmingham Comsum will feature over 25 talks and workshops on topics such as cloud migration, digital transformation, application modernisation, accelerating growth and innovation using GenAI, and unlocking data to drive business value.<\/p>\n
The event will be sponsored by tech consultancy AND Digital and AWS Cloud Native consultancy Steamhaus.<\/p>\n
The West Midlands Growth Company (WMGC) \u2013 the region\u2019s official investment promotion agency \u2013 supported the investment by connecting the Comsum team with relevant regional stakeholders and businesses, including potential commercial partners and event venues.<\/p>\n
