Culina Group has launched a new Sustainability Fund aimed at supporting community initiatives that promote environmental improvement and contribute to a more sustainable future.<\/p>\n
The Shropshire-based logistics provider has created the fund to offer financial backing to non-profit organisations, community groups and educational institutions, including schools and colleges. <\/p>\n
Funding will support projects designed to help local communities address climate change, reduce carbon emissions and protect or enhance the natural environment.<\/p>\n
The initiative forms part of Culina Group\u2019s wider sustainability strategy, which places environmental considerations at the centre of key business decisions.<\/p>\n
The business was among the first major third-party logistics (3PL) providers in the UK to commit to Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) goals, underlining its long-term commitment to reducing carbon emissions across its operations.<\/p>\n
As the UK\u2019s largest privately owned logistics supply chain partner, Culina Group provides logistics services to a number of major global brands. <\/p>\n
Applications for the fund are now open, with Culina Group encouraging submissions from organisations delivering innovative sustainability initiatives capable of creating measurable environmental and community benefits.<\/p>\n
