Professional Services Group S&W has announced the appointment of James Wright as a partner in its business tax team, based in Birmingham.<\/p>\n

Wright joins the firm with extensive experience advising UK and multinational businesses on a wide range of tax matters, including corporate structuring, international tax, transactions, and compliance.<\/p>\n

Wright brings a strong track record of supporting organisations through complex commercial and regulatory environments. He has spent his career working with clients across multiple sectors, helping them navigate evolving tax landscapes and implementing solutions that align with their strategic objectives.<\/p>\n

Telford and Shropshire Local Visitor Economy Partnership (LVEP) has announced the appointment of Mandy Thorn MBE DL as chair of the Telford and Shropshire Tourism Board.<\/p>\n

The Tourism Board sits at the heart of the VisitEngland-accredited Telford and Shropshire LVEP, a collaboration between Telford & Wrekin Council, Shropshire Council, Visit Telford and Visit Shropshire.<\/p>\n

The partnership brings together public and private sector leaders behind a shared vision to grow the visitor economy, attract investment, and build long-term resilience across the destination.<\/p>\n

Lovey (formerly Love Finance) has announced the appointment of its new chief technology officer, Mario Husha, to expand the company\u2019s c-suite and support the next phase of the company\u2019s growth. \u200b<\/p>\n

Husha brings to Lovey over 15 years of experience building, scaling, and securing platforms across fintech, regtech, payroll, and embedded finance, focusing on startup and growth-stage businesses operating in regulated environments.<\/p>\n

Most recently, he served as chief technology officer at Level Financial Technology, where he led engineering, security, and supported the company\u2019s expansion into embedded finance and enterprise partnerships within the Earned Wage Access market.<\/p>\n

Throughout his role, Husha will lead Lovey\u2019s tech strategy, drive sprint-based delivery, and own data integrity across its lending platforms.<\/p>\n

Reporting directly to Alex O\u2019Malley, chief commercial officer of Lovey, he will be shaping the direction of both Lovey\u2019s B2B and B2C tech products.<\/p>\n

His appointment further strengthens Lovey\u2019s executive leadership team as the business scales its technology infrastructure. He has a proven track record of delivering resilient, high-growth platforms in complex, regulated sectors, expertise that will underpin Lovey\u2019s next stage of innovation.<\/p>\n
