A packaging manufacturer is preparing for its next phase of growth after being acquired by investment firm Continuance Capital.<\/p>\n
Wednesbury-based Quantum Print & Packaging has been bought by Continuance Capital in a deal backed by funding from Allica Bank.<\/p>\n
Quantum produces bespoke printed and plain carton packaging from its 30,000 sq ft manufacturing site, supplying customers across the UK, ranging from start-ups to established consumer brands.<\/p>\n
The business was formed in 2005 following the merger of EW Box and Holmes Printers and has since developed a national client base.<\/p>\n
Recent projects have included packaging for soft drinks brand Hip Pop, gift packaging for Salford Rum and shelf-ready packaging for sports nutrition brand Grenade.<\/p>\n
Under the new ownership structure, the company\u2019s management team will remain in place. Former managing director Giles Foden will continue to play a key role in the business and maintain relationships with customers.<\/p>\n
The investment is intended to support the company\u2019s growth strategy, including strengthening partnerships with existing clients and exploring new opportunities within the packaging market.<\/p>\n
