A forum representing businesses in the north of Warwickshire has announced a new chair.<\/p>\n

Lindsey Randle, MIRA Technology Park\u2019s community relationship coordinator, has taken on the role of chair of the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce\u2019s North Warwickshire Local Business Forum.<\/p>\n

Randle succeeds her MIRA Technology Park colleague Sarah Windrum, who has chaired the forum for two years.<\/p>\n

The forum meets three times a year to discuss any issues local firms are facing and to also hear updates from key decision makers and figures in the area, including local authorities, MPs and business leaders.<\/p>\n

Randle has spent more than 14 years at MIRA Technology Park and is responsible for relationships with a range of stakeholders and community groups \u2013 from tenants on site through to local schools.<\/p>\n

She said: \u201cI am delighted to take on this role and look forward to meeting more and more businesses from across the region and understanding the issues they are facing. It feels like we are at a pivotal moment economically with so much happening across the region and so many different barriers to growth, and the Chamber is at the heart of representing companies of all sizes and sectors.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy role at MIRA Technology Park is very much about engagement and this is very much an extension of that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Corin Crane, chief executive of the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce, said: \u201cWe\u2019re really pleased to have Lindsey on board as chair of our North Warwickshire Local Business Forum. As a Chamber, we make sure that the voice of business us heard and our Local Business Forums are a big part of that because it means we get out to every part of the region and hear direct from firms of all sizes and sectors.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat, alongside our Quarterly Economic Survey (QES) and day-to-day dialogue with members, means we understand the issues that businesses are facing. Having Lindsey and a key economic partner in MIRA Technology Park underlines the vital role the Chamber can play in our region.\u201d<\/p>\n

Thinventory has announced changes to its senior leadership team as the business strengthens its leadership structure to support continued growth.<\/p>\n

Adam Smith has been appointed chief executive officer (CEO), moving from his role as managing director.<\/p>\n

Current CEO Dave Wilson will become Chairman, succeeding Stuart Miller, who remains active in supporting the business as Founder.<\/p>\n

Adam Smith said: \u201cI\u2019m excited to become CEO at a pivotal point in Thinventory\u2019s journey. TCN, a provider of cloud contact centre technology, has announced the appointment of Andy Brooks to the UK team as account manager and sales development representative (SDR).<\/p>\n

Brooks, from Redditch, West Midlands, brings over 32 years of experience to the UK team and will be working to bring on more labels and ensure existing clients can maximise the full benefits of TCN\u2019s award-winning platform.<\/p>\n

Brooks moved into the collections straight from school as a summer job, discovered he loved it, and never left. Within six months, he was promoted to team leader, and 18 months later, became collection manager then head of collections.\"\"<\/p>\n

After 17 years of working, he decided it was time for a change and applied to be Head of Collections at Opus Energy, where he worked for the next three-and-a-half years.<\/p>\n

He then successfully applied to become Head of UK Collections at BNP Paribas Financial Services, the fourth-largest bank in the world.<\/p>\n

His role saw him recovering various debts, for credit cards, store cards and personal loans. During his time at BMP he spent a day a month as a call handler, talking to debtors and clients and established a vulnerability department.<\/p>\n

Following COVID, he returned to an employed role with another CCaaS (Contact Centre as a Service) company as Account & Sales Manager before deciding to move back into credit and collections.<\/p>\n

Brooks then started as an Account Manager for High Court recovery at Marston Holdings before moving back into debt collection and technology.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cI was already familiar with the TCN platform, which is highly rated in the industry. I think the next 12-18 months are a really exciting growth time for TCN in the UK. TCN.Inc was launched in 1999 and is one of the top contact centre providers in the US. In the UK, we have had a bit more work to do, but have seen more than a 300% increase in revenue over the past two years.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am excited to be a part of the journey as TCN continues to grow at a massive pace. It\u2019s a really exciting time to bring a US dialler into the UK market, where more than 70% of our business currently sits in credit and collections.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m really impressed with TCN\u2019s Flow Strategy, which is very responsive for credit and collections, but it also works for many other industry call centres, such as finance. TCN has already done the difficult job of creating a platform that works seamlessly for the credit and collections space, meaning it will work well across any vertical.\u201d<\/p>\n
