Maypole Retail Park, a mixed-use development in south Birmingham, has been listed for \u00a36.245m.<\/p>\n

The site includes a 22,344 sq ft, 60-bedroom Travelodge hotel and a purpose-built retail parade constructed in 2007. It currently produces \u00a3516,122 per year in rental income, reflecting an initial yield of 7.75%.<\/p>\n

James Mattin, managing director of Bond Wolfe said: \u201cThe Maypole traffic island is an iconic gateway into Birmingham from Redditch and all points south of Birmingham, leading to Junction 3 of the M42, five miles south. Maypole Retail Park has a huge consumer community, located as it is between Kings Heath, Shirley and Wythall.\u201d<\/p>\n

The retail component comprises six units totalling 16,175 sq ft, with tenants including Ladbrokes, Poundstretcher, InHealth and Subway.<\/p>\n

Each unit has rear loading access, and the 64-space car park includes EV charging points leased to Swarco Smart Charging Ltd.<\/p>\n

The development totals 38,519 sq ft across 1.092 acres and is located near a 77,500 sq ft Sainsbury\u2019s store and a 15,000 sq ft Aldi.<\/p>\n

Mattin added: \u201cThe scheme occupies a highly prominent position on the Maypole roundabout, benefitting from strong roadside visibility, good parking and surrounding national retail provision including Sainsbury\u2019s and Aldi.
