ADI has completed the installation of what is described as the UK’s largest indoor fan zone screen at Aston Villa’s warehouse venue, adjacent to Villa Park, as part of the club’s wider regeneration programme.

The installation centres on a 971.981 sq ft ultrawide LED display, developed using ADI’s MT 2.5mm technology.

Positioned at the rear of the venue’s main stage, the screen is designed to function both as a backdrop for live entertainment and as a primary display for presentations, screenings, exhibitions and conferences, supporting expanded use of the space beyond matchdays.

Ben Hatton, chief operating officer at Aston Villa said: “Our long and trusted partnership with ADI continues to deliver – this time with the largest indoor fan zone screen in the UK. The ultrawide format strengthens our warehouse offering, enhances the matchday experience and provides a flexible platform for future activations as part of our ongoing regeneration.”

The screen also establishes a central focal point for supporters before and after fixtures. Its fine-pitch LED technology enables high-resolution visuals at close viewing distances, supporting use across live entertainment, branded activations and corporate events.

The project forms part of a broader technology and infrastructure upgrade at Villa Park, where ADI has delivered more than 8,070 sq ft of LED screens and signage during the 2024/25 season.

The programme also includes matchday content production, ongoing maintenance and the installation of a UEFA-compliant digiBOARD perimeter system.

It builds on a partnership between ADI and Aston Villa spanning more than 25 years and coincides with a reported 453% increase in matchday revenue over the past seven years, with the club recording the highest growth among the top 20 European teams in this category by the 2024/25 period.

Claire Fitzgerald-Firth, head of engagement & client services at ADI said: “We are proud to work with Aston Villa on this exciting warehouse project and have brought forward a creative, flexible digital solution to help transform this location. Using ADI’s MT Series of LED technology, Aston Villa now boasts the UK’s largest indoor fan zone screen. The scale and flexibility of the digital display provides the club with a powerful new platform to enhance fan engagement while creating additional commercial value within the Villa Park development.”
