Cameron Homes has exchanged contracts to acquire a 5-acre site in Honeybourne, Worcestershire, on the north-western edge of The Cotswolds.<\/p>\n
The site has outline planning consent from Wychavon District Council for 40 homes, with 40% designated for affordable housing.<\/p>\n
Sheldon Boseley Knight acted for the vendor, while Deeley Group secured outline planning approval in mid-2025.<\/p>\n
Cameron Homes has appointed White Ridge Architecture to prepare a Reserved Matters application for submission to the local authority this summer.<\/p>\n

The planned 40 homes will feature traditional brick and render exteriors to complement the local vernacular.<\/p>\n
Properties will front onto Stratford Road and Mickleton Road, with others overlooking open fields to the south.<\/p>\n
The development will incorporate green energy features including Smart Hive thermostats, solar PV panels, and electric vehicle charging points, aiming for a high EPC rating.<\/p>\n
Cameron Homes intends to retain the majority of existing hedgerows and implement ecological enhancements, including attenuation ponds and other SUDS features, to improve biodiversity on the site.<\/p>\n
Honeybourne offers a range of local amenities including shops, a post office, pubs, a primary academy, recreational areas, a village hall, and the family attraction All Things Wild.
