Sixteen companies have been selected to participate in the 2026 Isle of Man Innovation Challenge, a programme designed to develop and test practical solutions to health and social care challenges through real-world collaboration with public sector stakeholders.<\/p>\n
The initiative, led by Digital Isle of Man and the Department for Enterprise in partnership with the Department of Health and Social Care, Manx Care and Public Health Isle of Man, attracted 467 registrations from 25 countries, resulting in 125 formal submissions.<\/p>\n
Finalists were assessed by frontline professionals for their potential to address system-wide pressures, including workforce demand, patient complexity and service delivery.<\/p>\n
The selected companies span a mix of UK-based and international innovators, including Optimise BP, based in Hull, helfy\u00ae, based in Liverpool, and Strolll, based in Lichfield.<\/p>\n
In the Working Smarter category, finalists include 6D-Dementia Ltd, Concentric Health, DotPerformance Limited, Envisionist Deep AI, Optimise BP and Spryt.<\/p>\n
In the Wellness category, finalists include Beat Modules, The Wellbeing Doctors \/ helfy\u00ae, Sandora, Strolll and Untap Ltd.<\/p>\n
The Home First category includes Lyph Lab, Mediktor, Plainstep Ltd, Therapix and Weavair.<\/p>\n
Over 10 weeks, participants will work directly with clinicians, government and care providers to refine their solutions within the Isle of Man\u2019s integrated healthcare system.<\/p>\n
The programme includes mentoring, workshops and access to local networks, with a focus on adapting innovations for practical deployment.<\/p>\n
The Challenge will conclude with a live Finale Day on 25 June 2026, where finalists will present to a panel of judges across the three categories, alongside a Biosphere Award recognising solutions aligned with the Island\u2019s UNESCO Biosphere status.<\/p>\n
