{"id":2110456,"date":"2026-04-07T15:59:50","date_gmt":"2026-04-07T14:59:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thebusinessdesk.com\/westmidlands\/?p=2110456"},"modified":"2026-04-07T15:59:50","modified_gmt":"2026-04-07T14:59:50","slug":"birmingham-industrial-unit-sold-in-10m-deal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thebusinessdesk.com\/westmidlands\/news\/2110456-birmingham-industrial-unit-sold-in-10m-deal","title":{"rendered":"Birmingham industrial unit sold in \u00a310m deal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A manufacturing facility in Birmingham occupied by automotive components supplier Sertec Group has been sold in a \u00a310.4m transaction.<\/p>\n<p>The 111,727 sq ft unit, located on Redfern Park Way in Tyseley, was disposed of by MK2 Real Estate on behalf of the Canal &amp; River Trust.<\/p>\n<p>The asset has been acquired by Canmoor, a developer and asset manager focused on warehouse and business space, and sits on a 5.19-acre site.<\/p>\n<p>Sertec Group has operated from the site for several years, investing in both the plant and wider facility during that period.<\/p>\n<p>Mark Rooke, director in the investment team at MK2 said: \u201cOnly a handful of units of this size have come to the market in the last six months. It\u2019s a real sweet spot for investors, and as a result, we saw a lot of interest in this asset.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Tyseley manufacturing site occupied by
