A construction consultancy has been appointed to support the delivery of a new green space project in Lichfield aimed at improving links between the city centre and its rail station.<\/p>\n
Birmingham-based The Construction Consultants (TCC) will provide project management, quantity surveying and employer\u2019s agent services for the Linear Park scheme, which will create a landscaped route connecting Lichfield City Station with the city centre, including retail areas, the Garrick Theatre and planned leisure developments.<\/p>\n
The scheme is designed to improve the walking route while creating a destination in its own right, with plans for tree planting, seating and natural play features to encourage people to spend time in the space.<\/p>\n
Alex Pimley, TCC co-founder and director said: “We are delighted to be involved in this imaginative project which will help bring this part of Lichfield to life, making it easier and more enjoyable to walk between the station and the city centre.”<\/p>\n
TCC is also involved in other projects in the city, including the development of a new Everyman cinema at the Three Spires Shopping Centre, where it is acting as quantity surveyor and employer\u2019s agent.<\/p>\n
