A transport, logistics and distribution business has acquired a new headquarters in Nuneaton as part of its growth plans, securing a warehouse and office site of more than 154,000 sq ft.<\/p>\n
Slam Transport has moved into Hazell Way, relocating from its former premises on Dutton Road in Coventry.<\/p>\n
The new facility is almost twice the size of its previous base and will serve as the company\u2019s Midlands hub.<\/p>\n
Bromwich Hardy completed the transaction on behalf of the vendor, Deeley Group, for an undisclosed sum, understood to be several million pounds.<\/p>\n
Slam Transport also operates sites in Yorkshire and Scotland and runs a fleet of more than 240 trucks and trailers, providing freight transport and storage services across the UK and overseas.<\/p>\n
Hazell Way is located around four miles from Junction 3 of the M6 motorway and offers 154,391 sq ft of internal space on a two-acre site.<\/p>\n
The property includes a 9m eaves height warehouse, 10 dock-level loading doors, four level-access loading doors, a 30m-deep yard and two-storey office accommodation.<\/p>\n
