A supplier of residential energy storage systems has entered administration, bringing trading at the business to an immediate halt.<\/p>\n
GivEnergy, based in Newcastle-under-Lyme, has appointed Chris Brooksbank of CB Business Recovery as administrator.<\/p>\n
The company employed 35 people, all of whom have been made redundant following the appointment.<\/p>\n
GivEnergy supplied inverters, batteries and EV chargers to customers across the UK and operated as part of a wider group structure.<\/p>\n
Administrator Chris Brooksbank said the company had now ceased trading and no further goods or services should be supplied to the business.<\/p>\n
He added that hardware warranties previously issued by GivEnergy would no longer be honoured, while ongoing user and software support provided through the company had also ended.<\/p>\n
Brooksbank said several other businesses within the wider group are not included in the administration process, including GivEnergy Group, GivEnergy Commercial, GivEnergy Software and overseas operations.<\/p>\n
