An outline planning application has been submitted for a new residential neighbourhood in Knowle, Solihull.<\/p>\n
Brought forward by Richborough in partnership with the landowner, the scheme proposes up to 300 homes.<\/p>\n
Plans also include public open space provision, featuring a community park with potential for a sports pitch, play areas, informal recreational routes, a community orchard and biodiversity-led green space.<\/p>\n
Improved pedestrian connections are proposed to integrate the site with existing routes into Knowle and the surrounding countryside. A new community car park is also included to improve local parking capacity.<\/p>\n
Led by Richborough\u2019s group design director, Charlotte Lewis, the masterplan has been developed in line with established urban design principles and supported by a design code to guide future delivery.<\/p>\n
The proposals have also been informed by early engagement with local stakeholders and input from an independent design review panel.<\/p>\n
