Construction has begun on a new 78,000 sq ft industrial unit in Birmingham after strong interest from occupiers.<\/p>\n
Property developer and investor Barberry Industrial has started work on the \u00a317m project at Quinton Business Park, where it is delivering a new distribution and manufacturing facility known as Midbox 78.<\/p>\n
Main contractor Caddick has been appointed to deliver the scheme, with completion targeted for January 2027.<\/p>\n
The 78,335 sq ft building is being developed to target EPC A and BREEAM Excellent ratings, with features including electric vehicle charging points, rooftop solar PV and landscaped external areas.<\/p>\n
Barberry said the project has already attracted significant occupier interest, with discussions underway with a prospective tenant.<\/p>\n
