Autins Group has moved back into profit for the first time since 2017, following a year of cost improvements and new business wins.<\/p>\n

The Rugby-based insulator supplier reported a net profit of \u00a3170,000 for the year to March 2026, compared with a \u00a31.2m loss the year before.<\/p>\n

Profitability improved as margins increased and efficiencies took effect across its UK and European operations.<\/p>\n

Revenue fell to \u00a317.6m, mainly due to disruption from a cyber-attack at a major customer and delayed sales, although the business said demand remains strong.<\/p>\n

Autins also secured new contracts in the UK and Germany, which are expected to support future growth and provide more stable income over the coming years.<\/p>\n

The company expects revenue and profits to continue rising over the next two years as these contracts come into effect.<\/p>\n

Andy Bloomer, chief executive officer said: “I am delighted with the trading update we provide today. The Group has achieved its first net profit since 2017 – this is a fantastic achievement by the entire Autins team.<\/p>\n

“The Group has shown tremendous resilience and commercial focus in the last 12 months, winning the trust of both existing and new customers through consistent delivery and innovation, and we now enter a profitable growth phase. We’re well-positioned, with good visibility on future revenues as new contracts come through, and we remain focused on delivering sustainable value over the medium term.<\/p>\n

Despite the existing and new headwinds in the automotive industry and wider economic climate, the outlook for Autins is positive and we look forward to updating the market as these new programmes ramp up.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
