CBRE Investment Management (\u201cCBRE IM\u201d) has launched CBRE UK Single Family Housing Partners, a new residential fund targeting UK single-family rental development with an initial \u00a3400m of capital.<\/p>\n
The platform is designed to meet growing demand for professionally managed rental homes, with a focus on delivering new supply at scale in undersupplied markets, including the Midlands.<\/p>\n
A key feature of the strategy is an exclusive co-investment partnership with Moda Living, which will provide access to a land pipeline of more than 25,000 plots held by its parent company, Caddick Group.<\/p>\n
The combined platform is intended to support both development activity and long-term operational asset management across the portfolio.<\/p>\n
The investment strategy is targeting growth to \u00a32bn over time, supported by a mix of proprietary land supply and selective acquisitions from third-party housebuilders, enabling deployment across market cycles.<\/p>\n
The platform will also draw on CBRE IM and Moda\u2019s existing operational experience in delivering and managing large-scale residential communities, including schemes such as The Mercian, Loudon\u2019s Yard and Makers Place in Birmingham.<\/p>\n
Moda\u2019s activity in the region represents close to \u00a31bn of investment, alongside job creation and apprenticeship programmes, as well as its 114-home North Valley single-family rental community.<\/p>\n
