cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Giro Food<\/span><\/span> has managed to see an increase in turnover, even as profit stayed stubbornly steady.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"158\" data-end=\"329\">For the year to 31 May 2025, turnover rose 14.8% to \u00a341.1m (up from \u00a335.7m the prior year), while post-tax profit remained largely flat at \u00a3172,000 compared with \u00a3171,000.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"331\" data-end=\"526\">The group said growth was driven by continued demand across the UK fast food and catering sectors, alongside strong supplier relationships and pricing adjustments passed through the supply chain.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"528\" data-end=\"595\">Employee numbers edged down slightly from 28 to 27 over the period.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"597\" data-end=\"759\">Alongside the results, the company highlighted ongoing external pressures, including inflation, energy costs and geopolitical disruption affecting import pricing.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"761\" data-end=\"922\">The business noted it has sought to mitigate these impacts through supplier diversification, cost benchmarking and more competitive energy and fuel arrangements.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"924\" data-end=\"1089\">While inflationary pressures remain a challenge, Giro Food said customer relationships and long-term contracts have helped maintain stability in pricing and margins.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1091\" data-end=\"1344\">The group added that it continues to focus on strengthening operational resilience, managing credit risk through active debtor monitoring, and maintaining liquidity through its asset-based lending facility with Cynergy Bank, which is regularly reviewed.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1346\" data-end=\"1557\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Looking ahead, the company said its strategy remains centred on flexibility in procurement, cost control and maintaining strong supplier partnerships to
