A total of 84 private rental apartments have been completed at Denmark House in Telford Town Centre, marking a key milestone in the wider Station Quarter regeneration scheme.<\/p>\n
The development has been handed over to Nuplace, the housing company owned by Telford & Wrekin Council. The scheme is part of ongoing plans to increase housing supply in the town centre.<\/p>\n
Built by Bowmer + Kirkland, Denmark House provides 84 furnished apartments across six floors, including some adapted homes. <\/p>\n
A further 33 Nuplace properties and 72 affordable homes delivered by Legal & General Affordable Homes are also nearing completion nearby.<\/p>\n
The wider Station Quarter scheme has received \u00a34.725m in funding from the West Midlands Combined Authority.<\/p>\n
Richard Overton, Telford & Wrekin Council\u2019s Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Safer Streets and Better Housing said: \u201cThe completion of these apartments is monumental and is the first complex of its kind in Telford Town Centre.<\/p>\n
