A major logistics facility in Rugby has been fully let following a refurbishment programme.<\/p>\n
ID Logistics UK has taken on the 673,000 sq ft facility from logistics investor and developer Sunrise Real Estate, with the building set to operate as an e-commerce fulfilment centre supporting a major global online retail customer.<\/p>\n
Sunrise acquired the Rugby asset in 2022 and has since completed a programme of works to reposition the building for modern occupier requirements, with a focus on energy performance, employee facilities and operational efficiency.<\/p>\n
Upgrades included improving the site\u2019s EPC rating from D to A and securing a BREEAM \u2018Very Good\u2019 certification.<\/p>\n
Works also covered refurbishment of office accommodation, a new employee wellbeing space, electrification of the building, electric vehicle charging infrastructure and preparation for future photovoltaic installation.<\/p>\n
Located in Rugby within the West Midlands logistics corridor, the facility sits in a key UK distribution market with access to national transport links and established supply chain networks.<\/p>\n
