Birmingham-based Solus Ceramics says footfall at its Tyseley headquarters has almost doubled following a seven-figure showroom investment.<\/p>\n
The family-owned tile supplier has also reported a 25% increase in public sales as it looks to strengthen its position across homeowners, contractors and specification markets.<\/p>\n
The redesigned space features more than 100 large-format display slabs alongside product installations intended to help customers visualise materials across residential and commercial settings.<\/p>\n
According to the company, sales to the public have increased by 25% since the showroom opened, while activity from local contractors has also grown.<\/p>\n
The showroom has been organised by material and finish categories, including marble, stone, terracotta, wood and concrete aesthetics, rather than by manufacturer brand. Solus said the approach reflects changing customer expectations around specification and design-led purchasing.<\/p>\n

Founded in 1995, Solus has expanded from a family-run business into a national supplier working across commercial, residential and architectural projects.<\/p>\n
The company said revenues have increased by more than \u00a310m since 2021, with turnover expected to exceed \u00a326m by 2027.<\/p>\n
The business operates additional showrooms in London and Manchester and has supplied materials to projects including Porsche, Kensington Olympia and Finsbury Dials.<\/p>\n
