The Black Country Chamber of Commerce has named its final cohort of “Bostin'” businesses, taking the campaign to 50 companies celebrating the region’s entrepreneurial and community talent.<\/p>\n

The final eight include Kerry Tonks of Beet Consultancy, True Studio, BCRS Business Loans, MET Recruitment, Thrive Recruitment, Dark Foundry and Motion in Mind, alongside the Black Country Food Bank, which distributes enough food for around half a million meals across Dudley, Sandwell and Walsall each year and becomes the 50th and final organisation named.<\/p>\n

Sarah Moorhouse, chief executive of the Black Country Chamber of Commerce, said: “What a fantastic year we have had celebrating the rich entrepreneurial, business and community talent we have in the region, it really has been truly bostin’! The final eight take us to 50 ‘bosters’ in total, touching pretty much every village, town and city in our unique area. Our latest cohort features a mix of up-and-coming companies and established names, such as MET Recruitment, who are expanding at pace in Dudley.”<\/p>\n

She added: “They all share a passion to contribute positively to the Black Country, whether that is supporting local families, people with specific challenges or creating employment where it is needed most.”<\/p>\n

The Bostin<\/a>‘ Black Country Business campaign was launched to challenge stereotypes of the region and highlight its innovative, resilient and globally trading companies, receiving widespread local, national and international coverage. A celebration event for all 50 businesses will be held on 17 September at Molineux Stadium, home of Wolverhampton Wanderers.<\/p>\n

Halesowen-based Motion in Mind, one of the final eight, delivers ADHD and neurodivergent coaching to individuals and businesses.<\/p>\n

Founder Alice Nock said: “My business came about following a really dark time in my life and a diagnosis of ADHD. I believe that it doesn’t matter how bad things can get, there’s always something good to come out of it, and that resilience, for me, is what defines the Black Country.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
