DWF recruits new partners

LAW firm DWF has further boosted its regional presence with the appointment of two new partners.
The appointments of Andrew Breckenridge and Alan Herbert brings the number of partners in its Leeds office to 27 and adds to its litigation team.
Mr Breckenridge, who specialises in finance and banking disputes, joins DWF from the Salisbury law firm Parker Bullen where he spent seven years as head of litigation. The new role marks a return to Leeds for Andrew, who was previously a finance litigator with DLA in the city.
His practice areas include mortgage fraud, professional negligence, and operational loss claims for banks. He also acts for corporate pension scheme trustees on contentious work regarding real estate.
Mr Herbert, who has specialised in property disputes for more than 20 years, joins from Shulmans in Leeds. His previous roles have included head of property litigation at both Pinsents and Ward Hadaway.
Graham Dagnall, DWF’s practice group partner for litigation said: “The Leeds office has been expanding rapidly and the growth of our litigation business is one of the factors behind that. Following these two new appointments, we now have one of the strongest litigation teams in Yorkshire.”
