Business intelligence scaleup targets overseas expansion

Panintelligence, the Leeds-based business intelligence and analytics scaleup, has expanded its workforce after continuing with 40% growth into the final quarter.
The company has taken on five new people across development, sales and support, to deliver new product innovations and support the increasing number of partners.
Panintelligence is now exploring options to expand overseas.
Zandra Moore, Panintelligence CEO, said: “Increasing the team by 50% this year makes it a very exciting time to be part of the Panintelligence journey. We remain committed to adding top talent across the company, as we continue to grow within the analytics market. We’ve now set our sights on expanding overseas to Boston, USA and we are exploring China.”
Ken Miller, product director, is currently in China for the World Economic Forum (WEF) as he looks to forge new business relationships.
Panintelligence was invited to join the delegation led by Andy Burnham, Mayor of Greater Manchester and is among 16 companies from the North of England to represent innovations.
The company will meet with international researchers, thought leaders and companies at WEF.
As part of the visit, the UK delegation has also been invited to network with Chinese representatives at the UK embassy in Beijing, as well as take the opportunity for one-to-one business match-making arranged by China Britain Business Council and the Department for International Trade (DIT).
Panintelligence is also in the final stages of planning an exploratory trip to Boston, USA in November.
Moore explained: “The relationship between Leeds and Boston just gets stronger. With both cities being technology hubs, trade deals are becoming more frequent and ties are getting closer.
“Exceptional demand for our business information and analytics resources, a raft of new hires and exploring business opportunities in Boston and China means we’re looking forward to seeing what the future will bring for the rest of the year and beyond.”
