Clive Leadbetter has joined Osset-headquartered Quest Waste Management as its new managing director.
He brings over 25 years of operational and strategic expertise across the transport and environmental sectors.

Harrogate-based full-service marketing and communications agency, Big Bamboo, has appointed Matt Reeder as its new PR director.
A journalist with more than 30 years’ experience, he takes up the new role having worked alongside the 17-strong team as a PR consultant since November 2023.
Dealing directly with Big Bamboo’s clients, he will provide a wide range of PR support from the writing of content and securing of media coverage, to offering media training and advice.
He said: “I am both thrilled and excited to be joining the Big Bamboo Agency on a permanent basis, having thoroughly enjoyed my time working for them on a consultancy basis.
“Having already experienced first-hand how extremely talented and dedicated the team of marketing experts are at Big Bamboo, the opportunity to join them was simply too good to turn down.”

Having started his career at The Northavon Gazette in 1993, Reeder worked at the Derby Evening Telegraph and Swindon Advertiser before switching from news to sport and making his move to Yorkshire, firstly with the Evening Post and then The Yorkshire Post.
After his coverage of Leeds United won him the NCTJ Sports Journalist of the Year award, he took on the role of Yorkshire Post sports editor for 10 years before switching to become the title’s head of digital.
He joined the Harrogate Advertiser as deputy editor in 2017, taking over as editor in 2021, before leaving to set up his own freelance PR business last year.

Law firm, Ware & Kay incorporating Pearsons & Ward Solicitors, has confirmed the promotions of Lucy Gilman and Andrew Little to associate director.
Gilman joined Ware & Kay in 2012 as a residential property solicitor. She was promoted to head of Wetherby in December 2021 and has since played a key role in developing this office.
She has represented a number of high profile clients on complex property transactions and is highly regarded by both clients and colleagues.
Little joined the Malton office in October 2016 as a commercial property solicitor.
He was promoted to Head of Commercial Property (Malton) in June 2021 and Head of Malton office in April 2024.
His local knowledge together with his agricultural and commercial property expertise gives him the ability to provide detailed advice to clients on a wide range of transactions, which has been key to developing links with local businesses.
Both Gilman and Little will provide central points of leadership for the respective offices, along with acting as a liaison with the managing board. They will also play an active role as the firm continues with its expansion plans.
Gilman said: “I look forward to continuing to lead the Wetherby team and working with both the management team and wider firm at an exciting point in the firm’s growth and development.
“My aim will be to focus on assisting in the development of the firm and building relationships with other professionals and clients in Wetherby as well as the wider West and North Yorkshire region.”

Intrinsic, a Leeds-based performance marketing agency, is supporting its expansion plans with the appointment of a director of growth.
Daniel Tidmarsh joins to accelerate the growth and development of the business in key markets across the UK.
Using his experience in sales, social networking, and new business development, he will lead Intrinsic’s strategic expansion plans alongside founders Dominic Geary and Mark Hodgson.
