Harwood Capital lifts Animalcare stake after £11m investment

Harwood Capital has significantly increased its holding in York-based Animalcare Group, taking its total voting rights to 16.6%.

 Harwood has spent around £11m increasing its stake in the veterinary pharmaceuticals business, which is listed on London’s AIM market.

A regulatory filing confirmed that the threshold was crossed, marking a substantial rise from Harwood’s previous 9.9% holding.
