Filtronic secures $8m satellite comms contract

Filtronic has been awarded an $8m (£6m) contract with an unnamed US company to develop and manufacture high-performance system-level products.

The  business said the programme will begin this month and run through to 2027, providing multi-year revenue visibility as demand for advanced satellite communications technology continues to grow.
