By the time most housebuilders are thinking about regional expansion, Mark Mitchell had already lined up the sites, secured the backers and started sketching house types around his kitchen table.
After launching Leeds and Sheffield housebuilder Honey in October 2022, the business is now charging towards 650 completions this year, has 31 live and pipeline sites under control and believes it can crack the UK’s top 20 housebuilders by 2027.
