MaxAim launched

A GROUP of professionals have formed a strategic and financial management advice company.
MaxAim has been launched by Matt Peters, Chris Cormack, Ian Robinson, Marcus Green and Simon Oldfield.
After initially working together in the corporate finance department of Ernst & Young, each member of the team has pursued individual careers in practice, banking and industry for more than 10 years.
MaxAim, which will cover Leeds, Manchester and Sheffield from its head office in Wakefield, believes its mix of experience from accountancy, corporate banking and company directorships will help it succeed.
Matt Peters, a partner at MaxAim who was previously finance director at communications firm Daisy Communications, said: “Good financial information, on which you can base sound financial decisions and investments is crucial. But, all too often, the cost and time in gathering this data is so cumbersome and expensive that business opportunities are missed, or decisions are made using incomplete information.
“We are hands-on, have a flat management structure and provide an unrivalled mix of skills. This means we can cut through the bureaucracy and help our clients to act quickly.
“This enables our clients to take advantage of business opportunities and do so in the knowledge that all aspects have been covered off, removing a lot of the risk inherent in making any business decision.”
MaxAim has won a number of early clients providing strategic and financial management services, including due diligence assignments for PLCs and private equity investors and growth strategies for regional businesses.
