Leading toy chain turns to Yorkshire expertise

WORLD famous toy store Hamleys is to redesign its flagship London outlet with the help of Yorkshire architects.

Pudsey-based wdl Interior Architects has been appointed to lead the refurbishment of the Regent Street store.

The firm has previously overseen the redesign of Hamleys’ head office and given a new look to its Glasgow shop (pictured).

Mike Watson, owner of wdl Interior Architects, said: “It’s a great opportunity to assist with the interior refurbishment of any of the Hamley’s stores and offices. 

“The London store is obviously the flagship location for their business in England and it’s a pleasure to be working in the capital with my team from wdl and the Hamley’s team.”

The work will take place over several months as the store continues to trade as normal.
