Ziff steps down from Leeds board
EDWARD Ziff, the chairman and chief executive of Town Centre Securities, has resigned from the board of Leeds Building Society after just 17 months to devote more time to his other commitments.
Mr Ziff joined the board of the mutual as a non-executive director in December 2006 as one of seven non-executive directors on a 10-strong board headed by chairman Robin Smith.
Mr Ziff heads Leeds-based retail specialist Town Centre Securities.
Born in Leeds, he was educated at Clifton College before going to the University of Leeds. He is also a non-executive director of shoe retailer Stylo, headed by his brother Michael, and a member of the advisory board of the Business School of the University of Leeds.
