Law firm gets to grips with security deal

LAWYERS from Eversheds in Yorkshire have helped to secure a strategic acquisition for global security firm CSID.

A leader in identity protection, CSID has bought Dataspaces Corporation.

The Eversheds team in Leeds was led by partners Hannah Kendrick and Paula Barrett, assisted by principal associate Rebecca Kitson and senior associates Simon Procter and David Smith.

Ms Kendrick said: “This is a fantastic deal which will boost CSID’s abilities and allow them to offer  their clients an even greater global reach. We look forward to advising them on future mandates.”

The acquisition is expected to add to CSID’s identity monitoring product offerings.

CSID services more than 120 clients around the world and employs more than 100 employees in Austin, Texas; San Diego, California; Boston, Massachusetts and London.

The deal for London-based Dataspaces will give CSID a strategic foothold in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
