iLove to be Britain’s biggest fashion mag

A PUBLISHER is aiming to capitalise on the closure of women’s lifestyle magazine More! by launching what it claims will be Britain’s biggest fashion publication.
iLove will be delivered to an audience of more than 700,000 households. The team behind it said it will also offer content that is fully interactive through a reader’s mobile device.
The circulation is more than double more established rivals such as Cosmopolitan and Marie Claire and beats free titles such as Stylist and ASOS magazine.
The magazine, run by an Ilkley and Northampton-based team, uses interactive technology via a mobile app to access multimedia content and m-commerce sites.
Data modelling has been used to create and select iLove’s targeted audience interested in fashion and beauty.
Alex McIntosh, director of Digital Space, the company behind the magazine, said: “iLove is the holy grail for print publishing. Readers are able to seamlessly move between content on the page and online, which gives them a richer and more immersive experience. Every image, advert and even editorial copy is able to be fully interactive.
“Early trials have shown that the insight created provides direct benefit to brands from a clearer understanding of what users are reading, interacting with and buying, in a level of detail that was previously unavailable to the medium.”
iLove launches in July and will be published monthly. It is available to a wider audience through online and email editions and as a paid subscription.
Digital Space has worked with clients including The Times, Royal Mail and Next.
Bauer has suspended the publication of More!, which has seen falling circulation.
