Job opportunities as Mackenzie Stuart makes city centre move

RECRUITMENT consultancy Mackenzie Stuart has confirmed its move to No1 Whitehall Riverside in Leeds city centre.

The company has also announced a recruitment drive which will see a further 25 consultants join its dedicated graduate training programme in 2013.

It said the move to the 6,500sq ft office space comes following rapid expansion of the company’s workforce in 2012.

Mackenzie Stuart, which specialise in global executive search and selection in multiple sectors including oil and gas, insurance, infrastructure, medical and mining, has spent £150,000 on refitting the new Leeds office space.

From a headcount of 23 in March 2012, the company now employs 40 staff.
Mackenzie Stuart took on 20 graduates last year and is looking to recruit a further 25 to its intensive training programme in 2013.

Dominic Paglia, director of Mackenzie Stuart, said: “This move is fantastic for Mackenzie Stuart because it allows us to double in size over the next three years. As a business we have been going from strength to strength and office space had become a real issue.

“Moving to No1 Whitehall Riverside will allow us to take on 50 new graduates over the next three years and will also allow some of our previous graduate intake the opportunity to manage and progress very quickly within the business. This is why joining our graduate scheme is so exciting, it allows graduates unparalleled progression opportunities at an unparalleled rate. The next two years will be an exciting time for the company.”

The growth within Mackenzie Stuart is all organic, although medium term there is talk of turning the larger, better performing divisions which include medical, scientific, oil and gas, infrastructure, payments and mining into separate companies and creating a group structure for the business.

Successful graduates may have the chance to work overseas as Mackenzie Stuart look to open its Sydney office in mid-2014.
