THE achievements of South Yorkshire's female entrepreneurs are to be celebrated at a networking special event.

THE achievements of South Yorkshire’s female entrepreneurs are to be celebrated at a special networking special event.

All women who have participated in Sheffield’s Female Entrepreurship programme will be presented with a certificate in recognition of the time and effort invested in their personal and professional development.

More than 200 female entrepreneurs have been helped through the programme.

The event on September 10 at the Millennium Gallery will also see the launch of the first international female entrepreneurs network ORBITA.

Sheffield Cllr Syliva Anginotti, Lib Dem cabinet member for employment and enterprise, Julie Kenny, managing director of Pyronix, and Andy Curtis, assistant director of Innovation at Creativesheffield will be among the speakers at the joint Creativesheffield and Inova Consultancy presentation.

Andy Curtis, assistant director of Innovation at Creativesheffield, said:

“This is our chance to celebrate the fantastic accomplishments of Sheffield’s female entrepreneurs and recognise their importance in the development of the city.”
