Knight Warner scoops Australian deal

KNIGHT Warner has won a £1.1m export order down under.

The Chesterfield-based manufacturer of process automation equipment has beaten off international competition to win the significant order from Icon Equipment International to produce robotic bottle handling and control equipment for two large dairies based in Australia.

Kevin Parkin, Knight Warner’s managing director, said that there are now considerable opportunities for UK manufacturers to become exporters and also become serious competitors in international markets.

He said: “Knight Warner intends to continue developing its export potential and to utilise the Made in Sheffield brand as a mark of quality UK manufacturing.”

Dave Perryman, managing director of ICON Equipment International said  he was delighted to be working with Knight Warner and sees the relationship developing considerably in the future as the two companies work together supplying  ICON’s extensive international customer base in the Flowable Liquid Market.
