Law firm closes down

A LAW firm which had a trio of offices in Yorkshire has closed.

Richardson & Co Solicitors operated from Phoenix House on South Parade in Leeds, East Parade in Harrogate and at York’s Clifford’s Tower.

Established in 2008, the firm specialised in business, family and conveyancing law, as well as employment, wills and probate, personal injury and immigration.

In a statement on its website, Richardson & Co said: “We are sorry to announce that as of 5.15pm on Friday November 29 2013 Richardson & Co’s offices in Leeds, Harrogate and York we be closed.

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank the support of all our clients over the last six years.”

Last year, Richardson & Co Solicitors merged with Harrogate firm Spencer Ewin Mulvihill, which operated as Richardson Mulvihill, adding to its Leeds and York operations.

TheBusinessDesk.com was unable to reach Richardson & Co for comment but understands from the Solicitors Regulation Authority that the firm closed voluntarily.
