Sheffield distributor completes MBO
LINCOLN Welding Supplies has completed a management buyout (MBO).
The Sheffield-based business is the industrial distributor for Lincoln Electric, a global designer, developer and manufacturer welding products.
South Yorkshire law firm Taylor & Emmet advised Gavin Toulson and Mark Thompson of Lincoln Welding on the deal. The advice was provided by Lisa Wallis.
Wallis said: “I am certain that under Gavin and Mark’s joint direction, Lincoln Welding Supplies Limited will build rapidly on its strong foundations”.
Toulson added: “Since its incorporation in 1994, the company has built a significant reputation in the South Yorkshire marketplace and more nationally as a quality distributor of welding-related machines and equipment. Mark and I are now looking forward to driving the business forward together.”
