ProCo win to help Little Chef brand boost

SHEFFIELD-based digital print specialist ProCo has won a contract to supply Little Chef’s 180 restaurants with printed materials such as menus, banners and posters.

The contract will also see the firm provide warehousing and distribution for the national restaurant chain.

Managers at each individual Little Chef outlet will have direct online access to ProCo and will order their own print requirements for a rapid turnaround.

ProCo director Jon Bailey said: “We’re thrilled to have won such a high-profile contract. Little Chef is a well-loved household name and one that is clearly going places.

“It’s great to be involved at the beginning of this period of brand strengthening – and to be facilitating the company’s move towards a fully responsive and flexible approach to sourcing print.”

Claire Wormley, Little Chef’s marketing manager, added: “We were impressed by ProCo’s energy and professionalism and by its track record of turning work around very quickly but never at the expense of quality.

“Account handling is a crucial part of the mix in retail, especially with local marketing and we have found that the hands-on approach by ProCo account handlers through to management along with its integrated ordering systems have been invaluable.”

Little Chef, which relocated its head office to Sheffield in 2006, welcomes some 20 million customers each year into its nationwide network of restaurants.

The new contract is part of a major initiative to reinvigorate the familiar chain, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year.
