Appointments: Xamax; Pegler Yorkshire; Booths

PERSONALISED clothing manufacturer Xamax has kicked off the year with two promotions.
Gareth Thompson moves up to sales director while Tony Palmer takes the position of director of operations in a strategic move to help the work wear specialist to meet with its ambitious growth plans to take its current turnover from £3.5m to £4.1m by the end of 2015.
Graham Thompson, managing director of Xamax, said: “This year we hope to build upon our success by continuing to develop good relationships with sporting organisations, as well as schools and academies. The two new promotions form a vital part of our strategy to achieve this. We have always maintained that we will nurture and develop our employees ensuring that they become the best, and Gareth and Tony are a reflection of this.”
In 2014 Xamax invested more than £500,000 into the refurbishment of a 30,000 sq ft unit used for offices, manufacturing and warehousing, as well as the design and build of a customer facing retail outlet.
Providing more than 16,000 businesses with embroidered and screen printed garments, the company employs 46 staff and has more than 20 years’ experience working within the work wear and sportswear markets.
