Corporate finance community to be celebrated at TheBusinessDesk.com’s Rainmaker Awards
THEBUSINESSDESK.COM is delighted to launch The Rainmaker Awards for the Yorkshire corporate finance community.
The awards, a partnership with Out There Events, is a community-led programme to recognise the skill, achievement, innovation and excellence of the region’s corporate finance community.
Unlike other awards in the sector, the shortlisted teams and deals will be selected by the Yorkshire deals community, who will then vote online to pick the winners.

A dinner will take place at the Queens Hotel in Leeds on July 2, where there will be live interviews with the award winners, providing a credible and genuine commentary of activity over the preceding 12 months.

Alex Turner, editor of TheBusinessDesk.com in Yorkshire, said: “The Rainmaker Awards debuted in the North West last year and were an instant success.
“We’re passionate about being the voice of the regional business and professional community and following the success of our Business Masters awards last month and the increase in deal activity over the last year, this is the right time to celebrate the successes within the corporate finance community.
“The awards will be judged by that community as a whole, which will make winning even more special.”
Deals information will be sourced from Experian CorpFin and TheBusinessDesk.com’s records of corporate activity, but we will accept submissions too from individual firms. Please email deal details for the year to March 31 to yorkshire@thebusinessdesk.com by April 17.
