Appointments: Deloitte, Walker Morris, Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking, Raleys Solicitors

BUSINESS advisory firm Deloitte has promoted five members of its Yorkshire team to director level.

Richard Bolton is to become a director in the corporate tax team, whilst Matt Clarke will be the director of the regional financial services practice.

Darren Hattersley is a member of the indirect tax team, having worked for Deloitte for 15 years having worked previously at HM Revenue & Customs.

Joanna Herschell-Smith is a director in the corporate audit team, covering Yorkshire and the North East.

Gavin Quantock works in corporate finance advisory across Deloitte’s Leeds and London offices. He works largely in the energy and infrastructure sectors.

THE real estate group at Walker Morris is being boosted by the appointment of Ian Errington.

He joins after spending 18 years at another Leeds firm, specialising in new build supermarket developments and retail-led mixed use sites.

Mr Errington also focuses on advising on planning conditional contracts, options and similar agreements and focuses on giving targeted commercial advice moulded to his clients’ needs rather than simply transacting.

A LIQUIDITY associate director has been appointed at Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking.

Khush Johal joins the South Yorkshire team to support growth of businesses with turnovers up to £25m.

Working alongside existing Business Development Director, Paul Stevenson, Khush brings a wealth of relationship and transactional experience to the position.

Having originally joined Lloyds Bank 20 years ago, he has worked in a variety of roles across both retail and commercial banking.

BARNSLEY law firm Raleys Solicitors has expanded its team by appointing conveyancing specialist Sarah Weatherall.

Ms Weatherall will head up the department which handles re-mortgaging, house moves and new build homes.
