Surveillance firm gets secure with Asia Pacific contract

PUDSEY-BASED advanced surveillance technology firm Digital Barriers has secured a £1m contract to supply land and sea surveillance solutions to an Asia Pacific maritime security agency.

The group’s transport video interface (TVI) allows the streaming of real-time video to anywhere.

TVI has already been sold into more than 30 countries, and counts some of the most prominent defence and security agencies in the world as its customers.

The group’s integrated surveillance platform combines TVI with other sensors, including unattended ground sensors, to provide real-time video surveillance and intrusion alerts for remote or inaccessible locations.

ISP enables live video streaming and data to be shared across multiple agencies in different countries and regions.

Zak Doffman, chief executive Officer of Digital Barriers commented:”This contract award from an existing flagship customer in Asia Pacific continues our very strong progress in the region, and, coming so quickly after the initial award from this agency in September, clearly illustrates the significant value that our solutions can quickly realise for our customers.

“The fact that this follow-on award included both TVI and ISP solutions also demonstrates the potential for us to cross-sell our different solutions to existing customers.”
