Historic 19th century mill launches after major restoration

AN historic 19th century mill in Huddersfield has been restored to make way for office accommodation, creating 70 jobs.

The site is now open for business, and two West Yorkshire companies have taken space at the site, dubbed Park Valley House.

Developers of the site Holmfirth Dyers themselves have taken space there, along with Momentum Sales Solutions, which has taken 1,100 sq ft.

Holmfirth Dyers, who own Park Valley Business Park are moving into 750 sq ft offices.

Brian Duckett of Holmfirth Dyers said: “We have been able to transform a derelict industrial site into a modern business park, with first-class industrial units and a wonderful heritage building in Park Valley House.

“There is still much work to be done in completing the later phases of our development, but we have made a great start, which we are celebrating today.”
