Appointments: Needle Partners; Towry; Azzure IT

NEEDLE PARTNERS, the commercial law firm based in Leeds, has made a number of hires to its property department.
The recruitment drive included three new hires but also saw two trainees qualifying into the department. Lincoln Darlington joins as a partner having previously been a partner at Nexus Law in Manchester. Colin Dixon returns as a partner following a short spell at Genus Law.
Stephen Pickard also joined as a partner to run the residential conveyancing services having previously worked at Spectrum Solicitors. Finally, trainees Tom Flounders and Leon Dawkins have both qualified as solicitors into the property team.
Managing partner Sharon Needle said: “We’re working hard to help refocus these foreign investors to the Yorkshire region as return on investment in London begins to fall. The new recruits all have their unique expertise and experience that together make an excellent team for our wide range of clients.”

WEALTH manager Towry has strengthened its Leeds office with two new financial planners and wealth managers.
Paul Hudson joins Towry having worked within the financial services industry for more than 13 years.
Simon Davis joins Towry from Gale and Phillipson, having helped them establish and grow its North East operation.

TECH firm Azzure IT has made two hires as it looks to expand further in 2016.
Joining the team are digital marketing executive Cristian Fontanelli and account manager Matthew Holmes.
Mr Fontanelli is a University of Lancaster MSc Management graduate with an international background in digital marketing, conversions optimisation, and leads generation.
Mr Holmes will bring more than 15 years’ experience to the firm from a diverse background in account managing, sales, software consultancy and accountancy.
