Leeds group cleans up with £50m Morrisons contract

LEEDS-BASED NIC Services Group has secured a £50m contract win from supermarket chain Morrisons.

NIC will deliver cleaning services across the North of England and Scotland, and is one of the first firms to work with Morrisons in its outsourcing programme.

The company said that it is the first time in 100 years of trading that Morrisons is outsourcing its services.

NIC were awarded the contract following a successful pilot scheme which was completed earlier this year.
