Finance house launches Yorkshire office
Independent finance house and 2017 Business Masters Awards sponsor Bridging Finance Solutions has expanded its operation into Yorkshire.
Specialising in short term property finance solutions to individuals, investors, property developers, professional advisors and intermediaries, BFS was established 10 years ago.
Now it is making its first foray into Yorkshire, and has appointed Richard Gray to manage the Yorkshire area.
Steve Barber, managing director at BFS said: “We’ve really consolidated our presence in the North West and the next natural step for us is Yorkshire.
“We have always done business there but recognise the huge scope and potential of the region. We knew that we wanted to open an office but it was really important to get that right person. Now with Richard and a fantastic team in place, we are incredibly excited to make this shift.”
Gray commented: “I’m very comfortable working within this sector having held various positions with financial companies since leaving university and this new role is an incredibly exciting opportunity for me. My former role was with a financial packaging business and so the shift to working directly for a lender is a really positive move for me.
“Whilst dealing with clients directly and passing on those additional cost savings, we will also continue to develop relationships with accountants, solicitors and brokers who are increasingly recognising the many benefits bridging can offer.
“Now is a fantastic time to be working within the bridging and development industry and BFS is a business that is enjoying real growth, particularly within the past three years which is in sync with a general upturn in the UK property market. People are now looking to property once again as a great investment or an opportunity to make fast money and whilst high street lending can still be challenging, bridging can often be the key that unlocks potential deals.
