NPIF II launched last year and has £660m to invest in businesses based in the North of England. Through its fund managers it offers a range of commercial finance options with debt finance from £25,000 to £2m and equity investment up to £5m.

The fund, which is significantly larger than the first fund which launched in 2017, is tasked with increasing the supply and diversity of early-stage finance for SME businesses.
